The V Mini from Alesis is a portable MIDI controller with 25 mini-size velocity-sensitive keys and octave-up/-down buttons. It can be used to take control of music software and expand the full melodic range, and play bass lines, chords, and melodies via a single USB connection to your Mac or Windows computer.
The knobs and pads illuminate blue to provide real-time visual feedback and are laid out for an intuitive workflow. Manipulating effect plug-ins and virtual instruments, the V Mini's four controller knobs are assignable to open and close filters, adjust volume levels, activate effects, tweak parameters, and more.
In addition, the V Mini's compact design makes it easy to take the controller on the road or implement it into any sized studio. It is bundled with Xpand!2 by AIR Music Tech, a virtual instrument that comes with a collection of over 2000 sounds from acoustic instruments to futuristic synthesizers, allowing you to create or perform music right out of the box. A USB cable is also included.
