The MicroBrute is a monophonic synthesizer keyboard from Arturia that features a 25-note mini keyboard and an all analog signal path. It also features a compact design and a multi-wave analog oscillator with mixable waveforms.
The MicroBrute's single analog oscillator, is capable of generating sawtooth, square and triangle wave shapes simultaneously and allows you to blend them together to create complex waveforms. It also allows you to add a -1 octave sub square wave into your sound, plus it features an "overtone" control for adding harmonics.
The synth also features a low-frequency oscillator (LFO) with switchable square, saw and sine waveforms and an adjustable rate. Its destination is set to modulate the pitch of the oscillator by default and it has a depth control for adjusting the amount of modulation.
The MicroBrute also has a built-in 64-step sequencer that allows you to input notes one at a time to create rhythmic patterns. It has an internal memory capable of storing up to different 8 patterns and the sequences can be backed up to your computer using the included editor software.
