Kepma Launches New Premium Acoustic Guitars at Pocket Friendly Prices.
Grand Auditorium Body
Kepma EAC comes in a 40 inch Grand Auditorium Size which is smaller than the traditional dreadnought guitars. Dreadnoughts were originally made for a louder sound when pickup systems weren't yet advanced enough. However after the discovery of new methods of bracing and tonal woods, smaller sized guitars also got the opportunity to sound great. What makes the 40 inch great is that it fits most body types, tall or short, making it one of the great sizes to play on. Guitarists at John's Music have expressed that this size is much comfortable for longer hours of play. Also unlike the dreadnought, this size gives a tighter bass response making it a perfect choice to cut through and not overpower vocals.
Sitka Spruce Top
The EAC-E, EDC-E and ES36-E models from Kepma features Laminated Sitka spruce top that gives the guitar a bright response in tone. Sitka generates a broad dynamic range and accommodates numerous playing styles, from aggressive strumming to fingerpicking. As a guitar soundboard, or top, Sitka spruce is the tonewood standard of the modern era.
Mahogany Back and Sides
Mahogany when used as a top generates a warm, mid range dominant sound. However when paired with Sitka Spruce, can mellow out the sound of the spruce a bit and beef up the mid-range, add a more beefy character and reduce overtones. Kepma EAC uses seasoned mahogany back and sides as well as the neck of the guitar.
Die Cast tuning keys
All Kepma guitars come with die cast keys that tend to last longer than traditional tuning keys. Also keeps the tuning impact.
