Cajon and bongo sounds from the same instrument
Placing the Slap-Top between the knees and orienting the oval ports upward unlocks the bongo sound, which mimics the response of a real calfskin bongo with higher-pitched slaps toward the edges and a deeper thump from the center. Inverting the Slap-Top delivers a cajon-like response, with internal wires for a woody snare smack and a large center port for low-mid punch.
